Godfrey Ngaisiue
Director
Mr. Godfrey Ngaisiue was appointed to the NAMCOR Board as a Director effective 1 July 2024. He brings extensive expertise in geosciences and mineral resource management, supported by advanced academic and professional qualifications.
Mr. Ngaisiue holds an Advanced Postgraduate Specialisation Diploma (M Eng) in Geostatistics from the National Superior School of Mines of Paris, a Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mining) from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Master's in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Leeds, and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Pretoria. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Geography from the University of Namibia. He has further completed various leadership development courses including the Senior Executive Programme at the London Business School. Corporate Finance Programme at the London Business School, Programme for Management Excellence from the Gordon Institute for Business Science (GIBS) as well as the Senior Management Development Programme from the Stellenbosch Business School.
He has extensive work experience with Debmarine Namibia, where he is part of the Executive Management team currently serving as the Mineral Resources Manager and has held various positions including Mineral Resources Strategic Projects Manager, Evaluation Manager, and Senior Project Geoscientist. He also has experience in the public sector, having served as a Senior Geophysicist and Geophysicist at the Ministry of Mines & Energy.
Mr. Ngaisiue is a registered member of the South African Council of Natural and Scientific Professionals and belongs to several geological and geophysical societies, including the Geological Society of South Africa, the Geostatistical Society of South Africa, the Geological Society of Namibia, and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
With his extensive experience across the entire mineral resource management value chain from exploration, resource evaluation and production optimisation and management, combined with his strategic project management skills as well as his general strategic leadership experience, Mr Ngaisiue will significantly contribute to NAMCOR's mission by enhancing its capabilities in resource exploration and production.
