Florentia Amuenje
Chairperson
Mrs. Florentia Amuenje was appointed as Chairperson of the NAMCOR Board, as the effective 1 July 2024. She is a seasoned Professional Coach, Human Resources Executive, and independent consultant with extensive experience in professional coaching, human resources transformation, strategy development, and implementation. She is the founder of TransfoCoaching and Consulting.
Florentia's career is marked by solid business acumen, corporate experience, and academic training in various fields. She has held significant roles in both public and private sectors, such as FNB Namibia, the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund, and PricewaterhouseCoopers just but to mention a few.
Her academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, a Master's Degree in Research Psychology from Rhodes University, and a BA Hons. Degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Namibia.
Florentia has served on several boards, including NSA, NTA, NAMDIA, Debmarine Namdeb Foundation, Old Mutual Employee Empowerment Trust, NAMCOR, Gondwana Nature Investments, Nedbank Namibia Holdings LTD, and YOUR TURN MOVE Foundation. She is a professional member of various organisations such as the Namibia Institute of Corporate Governance and the International Coaching Federation.
Florentia's broad exposure to Strategy development, HR management, leadership, governance, and project management, combined with her ability to network and build professional relationships, will significantly contribute to NAMCOR's mission by enhancing its focus on governance, strategy execution and organisational effectiveness.
