Anna Libana
Director
Mrs. Anna Libana was appointed as a Director to the NAMCOR Board effective 1 July 2024. Anna is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in petroleum economics, energy policy, and strategic project management.
Anna currently serves as the Director of National Energy Fund. Prior to this role, she was the Shipping and Supply Manager for Refined Petroleum Products at Namibia Liquid Fuel (Pty) Ltd and also served Supply and Trading Specialist at NAMCOR.
Her career began at the Ministry of Mines and Energy, where rose through the ranks Senior Petroleum Economist and Chief Administration Officer, focusing on fuel price calculations and macroeconomic impact assessments of petroleum policies.
Anna holds a Master of International Business from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa, and a Diploma in Public Administration from the Polytechnic of Namibia. She holds various certificates in petroleum operations and energy planning from institutions in Norway, Singapore, and South Africa.
Her expertise in managing national energy projects and formulating strategic fuel policies will significantly enhance NAMCOR's strategic initiatives and contribute to its mission of driving energy development and sustainability in Namibia.
